Hillco Technologies has been inundated with questions regarding a pivoting spout for Case IH combines. This hype was the aftermath of our John Deere Pivoting Spout release. John Deere customers have been overjoyed with the ease of maneuverability when filling their grain carts or trucks since its release.

As for Case IH- the time is now!

Hillco Technologies has officially released a Pivoting Spout for Case IH combines! Available for purchase today, the CSP1410 has an injection mold boot that comes in one single piece, like the factory spout. This spout fits bottom discharge 14” unloading augers. The diameter of the spout tip allows a tighter spread and a more accurate pour while maintaining volume.

CASE- IH Pivoting Spout

With durability at the forefront of design, Hillco Technologies has positioned the actuator behind this spout for protection from impact. This is the same as with Hillco’s John Deere Pivoting Spout. You control the pivoting spout with Hillco’s standard foot rocker switch which can be mounted anywhere on the floor of the cab. In the event of a clog or sudden impact, the spout is designed to break away, helping prevent auger damage.

This Pivoting Spout was designed for Flagship and Midrange combines with 14” diameter augers. Comparable to our John Deere Pivoting Spout- our spout for Case IH combines boasts 37 degrees of rotation. From the stock boot position, you will get 23° of downward pivot, allowing you to pour almost straight down. The 14° upward pivot will give you additional grain throw over the standard boot.

Hillco Technologies designed this spout as a stand-alone system. A stand-alone system means easy diagnostics. Also, if the end user wishes to update their combine, this spout can be moved to their new machine quickly and with minimal difficulty. The average installation time necessary is three hours.

Reduction in Machine Harvested Yield (bu/acre)

Estimate the reduction of Machine Harvested Yield (MHY) for each slope range if you were harvesting at the speed you entered for 0-3% slopes. (The calcultor will then project expected reductions in MHY for each slope range at your previously estimated ground speeds.)

You may opt to enter the test data which was determined by actual field testing by Hillco (based on 5 mph harvesting speed).

Reduction in MHY is used in these calculations rather than field loss. Reduction in MHY is a more accurate guage of combine harvesting efficiency because it can be determined by actually weighing the harvested yield rather than estimating the amount of yield lost to the ground.
