Hillco’s February Tradeshow Sprint: Real Conversations, Real Equipment, Real Results

If there’s one thing we love, it’s getting out of the shop and into the aisle- talking with the producers who put our equipment to work every day. This month, Hillco Technologies has been on the road connecting with ranchers, farmers, and industry partners across multiple events- and we’re coming home with great feedback, fresh ideas, and a lot of momentum.

At NCBA CattleCon (Feb 3–5), we had the Wrap Twine Remover (WTR) on display inside the John Deere booth. Hillco’s recent launch of the Hillco Wrap Twine Remover now being available exclusively through John Deere dealer channels helps to put Hillco solutions in front of the people who need them most.

True to advertising, CattleCon is in fact “where the beef industry meets”- bringing cattle producers and industry partners together for education, networking, and business.
For Hillco, that meant nonstop conversations about the daily realities of feeding: net wrap and twine that waste time, create frustration, slow down the routine, and impede operator safety. The WTR drew attention because it’s built around a simple goal- making wrap and twine removal faster, safer, and easier from the seat of the tractor.

The TikTok moment: Hillco Wrap Twine Remover

One of the best parts of being in the John Deere booth at CattleCon this year (Nashville, Tennessee) was how quickly the WTR sparked curiosity and content. The result was a TikTok video that coined the phrase “the coolest bale spear I’ve ever seen!”

Iowa Ag Expo 2026

At Iowa Ag Expo, we continued the conversations with another strong crowd of growers and ag professionals.
From harvest upgrades to day-to-day efficiency, it’s clear the appetite for practical, ROI-driven improvements is only growing.

Spokane Ag Expo

Hillco was well represented at Spokane Ag Expo, both from our annual Booth #042 to the Hillco-equipped X9 and 9260 on the floor, leading to conversations tied to leveling system performance. There was steady traffic from growers, ag families, and plenty of FarmSim fans who stopped in to try Hillco’s products in the virtual world. The Hillco Wrap Twine Remover, 84ft Hillco Harrow Cart, and the John Deere Hillco S700 Series combines are all available on FS25.

Overall, Spokane was a great opportunity to connect with old friends and new ones, who were sticking around to ask the good questions. That’s where the best connections happen.

National Farm Machinery Show (Louisville, KY)

We also spent time this month at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, KY, where Hillco was set up at Booth #7562 and had a steady stream of conversations with growers, families, and ag tech fans. The show floor had great energy and competitive energy with our WTR challenge on FarmSim25! We had a friendly challenge- if attendees were able to figure out how to use our WTR to process a bale in the tub grinder- they won some Hillco Swag!

Between the crowd traffic, the hands-on engagement, and the chance to connect with producers face-to-face, it was a strong stop on a packed month of shows and a great reminder that the best feedback always comes from the people who use equipment every day.

Tomorrow: Commodity Classic (with John Deere)

We’re not done yet, Hillco will be at Commodity Classic (Feb 25–27) in the John Deere booth.
If you’re attending this week come visit us, talk through your operation, and get hands-on with the equipment. Whether you’re focused on feeding efficiency or harvest upgrades, we’d love to help you think through the right setup.

Looking ahead: Farm Progress Show (with John Deere)

Hillco is already gearing up for what’s next. Later this year, you’ll also find Hillco in the John Deere booth at the Farm Progress Show– another great chance to connect with the team and Hillco to talk through what would make the biggest impact on your operation.

See you at the next stop!

To everyone who stopped by to chat, shared feedback, and told us what you’re battling in the field- thank you. These shows aren’t just dates on a calendar. They’re where Hillco learns, improves, and keeps building solutions designed for the realities of ranching and agriculture.
