If you’re considering purchasing a Hillco WTR (Wrap Twine Remover), one of your first questions is likely: What does it cost? At Hillco Technologies, we believe in being upfront and transparent about pricing so you can make an informed decision. Below, we break down the base cost, optional add-ons, and other factors that influence the final price of your WTR.

Base Price of the WTR

The Hillco Wrap Twine Remover is proudly designed, manufactured, and assembled in the U.S.A., right at our facility in Nezperce, Idaho. The base unit is priced at $11,300 and includes:

  • The WTR main unit
  • Two standard spears
  • Electrical control switch
  • Wiring harness

This setup provides everything you need to start removing wrapped twine or net wrap with ease and efficiency.

What’s Not Included in the Base Price?

While the base unit is ready to go, some components are sold separately depending on your specific equipment and setup needs:

  1. Adapter Plates – $250

To mount the WTR on your machine—whether a skid steer or a Euro-style mount—you’ll need the correct adapter plate. We offer these for $250.

  1. Hydraulic Hoses

The hydraulic hoses that run from the WTR manifold to your machine are not included in the base price. These need to be sourced or fabricated locally depending on your hose length and fittings.

  1. Lower Spear Mount

If you’re looking to expand your WTR’s capabilities, the lower spear mount is an optional add-on. It allows you to add up to five additional spears for handling larger or tougher bales. Additional spears are also available for purchase.

Additional Cost Factors

A few other variables can affect your total cost:

  • Freight/Shipping: Delivery costs from our Idaho facility to your dealership or location will vary based on distance and shipping method.
  • Dealer Setup Fees: Some dealers may charge a setup or installation fee. Be sure to check with your local dealership for specifics.
