Hillco Makes Prairie Days History with Wild West Parade Float

This year’s Prairie Days Parade in Nezperce, Idaho was one for the books—and Hillco made history in the heart of it all!

Our result?

🏆 Best of the Best Trophy
🥇 First-ever 2x “Best of the Best” winners in Prairie Days history!

The Hillco float brought high energy and serious creativity, featuring:

A custom-built saloon and jailhouse
A glowing firepit with (fake!) Dynomite
A Hillco Harrow Cart decorated as a covered wagon
Original banners highlighting our western roots and innovative future

But the real highlight? Our team.
From concept to construction, this was a 100% in-house effort—our shop crew even welded together the traditional firepit cooking frame that brought the float to life. Multiple office staff from all departments took turns lending a helping hand.

We’re proud of the recognition, but even more proud of the collaboration it took to make it happen. This float wasn’t just a fun display—it was a symbol of who we are: resourceful, team-driven, and deeply connected to our hometown.
